Activists say Israeli troops have boarded a yacht making an attempt to carry humanitarian assist to the Gaza Strip.

“Connection has been misplaced” on the Madleen, the Freedom Flotilla Coalition marketing campaign group stated on the Telegram app.

It posted a photograph displaying individuals in life jackets sitting with their fingers up. The report couldn’t be independently verified.

Local weather activist Greta Thunberg is amongst these aboard the vessel, which is believed to be off the Egyptian coast.

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz earlier ordered the navy to stop the ship from breaking the blockade of Gaza. Israel says the blockade is critical to stop weapons from reaching Hamas.
