British passenger survives Air India aircraft crash, studies say

A person survived the Air India crash that killed not less than 200 individuals, a police chief has informed an Indian information company.

Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik informed ANI there was one survivor, who was in seat 11A on the London-bound Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner flight.

The flight manifest shared earlier by authorities stated the passenger in seat 11A was British nationwide Vishwash Kumar Ramesh.

Indian media stated they’d spoken to Vishwash in hospital and reported him saying: “Thirty seconds after take-off, there was a loud noise after which the aircraft crashed. All of it occurred so shortly.”

There have been 169 Indian nationals, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese nationals and one Canadian on the flight, Air India stated.
