Tina Smith says she confronted Mike Lee over ‘merciless’ social media posts on the Minnesota shootings

Sen. Tina Smith, D-Minn., stated Monday that she confronted Republican Sen. Mike Lee of Utah over his social media posts in regards to the suspect in shootings that took the lifetime of a Minnesota lawmaker and her husband.

Smith stated she confronted Lee after his “merciless” posts, during which he included a photograph of the suspected gunman and wrote, “that is what occurs When Marxists don’t get their means.”
