Okay-State’s Manhattan campus goal of obvious swatting assault

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) – A “potential security concern” was reported at Okay-State’s campus in Manhattan on Monday, Aug. 25.

Okay-State officers inform 13 NEWS that on Monday afternoon, the college was a goal of a swatting assault that was supposed to disrupt the Manhattan campus.

In keeping with a social media put up from the Kansas State College Police Dept., the security concern was alerted on the Hale Library at 4:30 p.m. Police gave the all clear at 4:38 p.m.

13 NEWS has reached out to Okay-State Police as to why the security concern was alerted.
