Sluggish Cooker Hen Tortilla Soup

Sluggish Cooker Hen Tortilla Soup
Elements
- 1 lb boneless, skinless hen breast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 cups low-sodium hen broth
- 1 15-oz. can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 15-oz. jar low-sodium salsa
- 1/2 avocado, diced, for garnish
- 12 tortilla chips, crumbled, for garnish
Instructions
Season the hen with salt and black pepper.Â
Place the hen, broth, black beans and salsa in a sluggish cooker. Prepare dinner on low for 8 hours or excessive for 4 hours. Take away hen and shred, then return to soup.Â
Spoon soup into bowls, prime with avocado and tortilla chips and serve instantly.
