Kevin Costner‘s lawyer is firing again on the stunt performer suing the actor over what she says was an unscripted rape scene on the ‘Horizon 2’ film set.
Devyn LaBella is suing Kevin for sexual harassment, discrimination and retaliation over the alleged incident … and he or she amended her lawsuit so as to add some alleged texts she says she despatched to the movie’s intimacy coordinator, together with one the place LaBella says the alleged rape scene was an “abomination.”
Kevin’s lawyer, Marty Singer, is responding … and he vehemently denies LaBella’s claims.
Singer tells TMZ … “Ms. LaBella was doing a rehearsal on an Insert Shot for a scripted scene. There was no intimacy or something sexual within the shot. There was tugging on a costume whereas she was totally clothed in a costume with lengthy bloomers mendacity down subsequent to a male actor.”
Kevin’s legal professional provides … “Quite a few witnesses have contradicted Ms. LaBella’s meritless claims. She herself texted her supervisor after she wrapped stating, “Thanks for these fantastic weeks.”
As we reported … LaBella alleges she was “the sufferer of a violent unscripted, unscheduled rape scene” directed by Costner on Could 2, 2023. She claims there was no contractually mandated intimacy coordinator current on set the day of Could 2, and that Costner was “both concerned in or totally conscious of each single factor happening.”
In her go well with, LaBella alleges Costner instructed actor Roger Ivens in the course of the scene, alleging Ivens “violently rustled” her skirt up “as if making an attempt to penetrate her in opposition to her will” whereas “utilizing his physique and arms forcibly pinning [her] down.”
However Kevin’s camp is once more calling BS.
