New group of Camp Pendleton Marines tasked with southern border safety in Arizona – Orange County Register

A brand new group of Camp Pendleton Marines are working alongside U.S. Customs and Border Safety and U.S. Border Patrol on the southern border.

The group, which incorporates 500 Marines and sailors, is a part of the Fight Logistics Battalion 15, 1st Marine Logistics, and has assumed “operational tasks” as Activity Pressure Forge underneath Joint Activity Pressure–Southern Border, Marine officers stated on Monday, July 14.
