Report: Shannon Sharpe won’t return to ESPN after settling lawsuit
Shannon Sharpe won’t be returning to ESPN.
Based on Andrew Marchand of TheAthletic.com, ESPN has minimize ties with Sharpe after the Corridor of Famer settled a lawsuit accusing him of sexual assault.
The settlement was introduced by the accuser’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, earlier in July.
Sharpe had strongly denied the allegations and stepped away from his position at ESPN, the place he was featured on First Take. Whereas he had beforehand vowed to return, that now won’t be the case.
Sharpe had not been on ESPN since April.
