Harris Yulin, the actor greatest recognized for his work in “Scarface” and “Ghostbusters,” has died, TMZ has confirmed.
His rep tells us … the acclaimed actor who appeared in dozens of movies, TV and Broadway exhibits over his decades-long profession, died Tuesday in NYC after going into cardiac arrest. A precise explanation for loss of life has not been launched.
Yulin appeared in a number of blockbusters reminiscent of … “Ghostbusters 2,” “Clear and Current Hazard,” “Coaching Day” — and maybe his most well-known … “Scarface.”
As followers recall … within the Al Pacino gangster traditional, Yulin performed Officer Bernstein … who tried to shakedown Tony Montana — and that ended with Tony killing him in chilly blood.
When he wasn’t in entrance of a digicam or onstage … Yulin was an avid hen watcher and lover of the ocean.
Harris is survived by his spouse, Kristen Lowman; son-in-law, Ted Mineo; nephew, Martin Crane; and godchildren Marco and Lara Greenberg. He was predeceased by his daughter, actress Claire Lucido.
Yulin was 87.
