Act now to avoid wasting lives in Gaza, ICRC head urges world leaders

Gaza has grow to be worse than hell on Earth, in response to the president of the Worldwide Committee of the Purple Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric.

Chatting with the BBC’s worldwide editor Jeremy Bowen on the ICRC headquarters in Geneva, Spoljaric says what is occurring in Gaza surpasses any acceptable authorized, ethical and humane normal.

She calls on world leaders to do extra, to “act now” to assist save lives within the territory.

The ICRC is a world organisation that operates in warfare zones and has over 300 employees in Gaza, most of whom are Palestinians.
